Irish Company Acquired Oregon Based Web Host

Spiral Hosting Ltd, a European web host with headquarter in Ireland announced that it has acquired the web hosting business of the U.S. Oregon based Eideashop Inc.

“Spiral Hosting are delighted to announce the acquisition of Eideashop web hosting and we can’t wait to welcome our new clients and start assisting their web hosting needs. This acquisition allows us to invest heavily in brand new super-fast web servers housed in a newly renovated private data centre space in downtown Chicago. Chicago serves as one of North America’s largest Internet hubs with fibre optic connectivity to the East and West coasts of the United States and this yields low latency to both coasts as well as to Europe and the Asia-Pacific region”, says Peter Armstrong, director of the Irish HSP.

The Irish web hosts says that the acquisition is part of the company's “continuing efforts to offer superior web hosting solutions". The Spiral Hosting official claims that the acquisition will provide his company with an opportunity to offer a "fault-tolerant network across two continents, with impressive network speeds and around-the-clock support for our clients in Europe and the United States”.
