EU Based Cloud Hosting Provider Kicks Off Domain Promotion On 12 European TLDs

The provider of Cloud Hostinb - Cloud.bg announced it now offers a free registration or transfer of 12 different European domain names - .co.uk, .de, .fr, .es, .it, .at, .be, .nl, .dk, .li, .ch, .me and .eu - with the purcahse of its cloud hosting plan "SCloud". The promotional campaign begins on February 10th and expires on March 31st 2010. The only requirements that the cloud customers have to comply with are those of the national registries which operate the domain extensions.

Cloud.bg, is currently one of the very few European Cloud Hosting providers and probably the first one on the market, that enables website owners to use the world's most popular hosting automation control panel cPanel/WHM on the cloud.

The new cloud hosting service features 100 GB of SAN space, 1,000 GB premium bandwidth per month and allows anyone to host up to different 100 websites on account. It is priced as low as €20 per month.

The average RTT for Israel is 97 ms. The cloud is located in facility owned and operated by Interoute, one of the premier European providers of data center solutions.

The company's cloud hosting service is based on Fuscan Linux Cloud produced by the U.S. software automation producer Single OS LLC.

eUKhost Launched Cloud VPS Hosting

The UK hosting provider eUKhost announced the launch of new Cloud VPS Hosting service, powered based on VMware virtualization platform. The company claims that its Cloud VPS Hosting "offers one of the best solutions available for delivering 100 percent uptime in a virtual server environment".

"At eUKhost, our intention was to make the Cloud Hosting service generally available to all users worldwide after successful testing of the product late last year," said Ryan Watson a business development manager of eUKHost.

The new service is delivered from company's Milton Keynes data center facility. The eUKHost's current cloud hosting environment features highly available and fault tolerant clusters with multiple hardware nodes, while preserving the flexibility to choose between any type of OS, application and hardware. If any single node experiences failure for any reason, VMware shall automatically move the affected websites to a backup node, eliminating the possibility of any downtime.

The cloud VPS plans start at £30 ($47) per month. The plans are available for both Microsoft Windows and Linux OS. Each Cloud VPS includes pre-installed software, including ASP.NET and SQL Server on Windows and PHP, Perl, and MySQL on Linux. Additionally, Cloud VPS plans feature 24x7x365 technical support and a 100% uptime guarantee.
